It’s Really Quite Simple!
Making just the right video can be difficult. Sure, you could it on your own. Smart phones do incredible things these days. Most computers have basic editing software pre-installed. Heck, most phones have editing software. But is that really your best bet?
I'm not a baker, but I've baked a cake before. And it tasted relatively ok...until I ate a slice of cake made by someone who knows what they are doing. No comparison, really. My cake filled a momentary need/desire. Their cake moved me to buy more cake from them, and to stop making my own!
Our process works in a way that lets you either have little to no involvement or stay right beside us all the way. We know the importance and value of your time. Ultimately, we're here so that you get the video you want and still have the time you need to devote to what you do best.
So how does it work? I’m glad you asked. It's about as simple and straightforward as it gets.
BRAINSTORMING THE PERFECT IDEA:
Thinking through ideas and concepts with clients is where it all begins. It's a time where nothing is off limits. We're just spring-boarding ideas, throwing creative darts and seeing where they land.
WRITING SCRIPTS:
We've collectively landed on the best idea, so now we give it more structrure. Concepts turn into scenes. Thoughts turn into spoken words. It's one of our favorite parts of the process, as we see everything discussed previously turning into something real.
FILMING:
It's all been on paper so far, but now it comes to life. With a detailed production plan in place, we'll start filming your video. There are a lot of moving parts, and it may feel overwhelming at times. But this is our playground, our happy place. We thrive on the energy on set. And it's all been strategically planned out. Sure, there will be some minor surprises along the way, but we've done this long enough to know how to handle the unexpected.
EDITING IT ALL TOGETHER:
While filming is an in-your-face process, editing is just the opposite. It may seem quiet on our end for awhile, but that’s because we're hunkered down behind closed doors, finding the the best angles, selecting the best takes and adding all the subtle elements that make our work stand out among the rest.
PUBLISHING THE FINISHED PRODUCT:
We're done! Together, we've started with a concept, fleshed it out, given it an official voice, filmed it, and put it all together in a final edit. Now it's yours to do with as you please.
